Whiteford has been placed in the Ringler Division of Wiffle in Southeast Michigan. The five-team division will consist of the WWA, Donkeys, Manchester Punchouts, Belgian Wiffles, and Jason Mattseals. The division winner will clinch a playoff berth and #1 or #2 seed.
The Aces will play each team in their division 4 times (2 home, 2 away) and 12 inter-divisional games- 4 against a "rival" team, and 2 against the other four.
Explanation of Ringler name from WSEM:
Named for David Ringler, founder of the Fat Bastard Wiffle Ball tournament in Grand Rapids, MI. The Fattie is the most recognized Wiffle name in Michigan and has raised thousands of dollars for charitable causes over the years.
The Ringler Division mark takes its inspiration from the logo of Fat Bastard Wiffle Ball, with the five holes representing the five teams. While the WSEM league logo showcases the pitching aspect of the game, the division logos use the yellow handle of a Wiffle bat to promote the offensive side.
